  • Burglary Arrest Two: 1400 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce that an arrest has been made in reference to a two burglary offense that occurred on Friday, November 26, 2021 in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in the southeast.
At approximately 11:53 p.m., the suspect forced his way into an establishment at the indicated location. Once inside, the suspect took possession of the premises and then fled. The suspect was apprehended by the agents in charge of the intervention.
On Friday, November 26, 2021, Dante Christopher Smith, 36, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with burglary two.

  • Suspects wanted in theft (auto theft) offense: 1400 Block of Maryland Avenue, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District are seeking public assistance in identifying suspects in reference to a vehicle theft (auto theft) offense that occurred on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue, northeast.
At around 11:00 a.m., the victim got out of his vehicle at the indicated location. The suspects then entered the victim’s vehicle and fled.
The suspects were captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos to the right:

  • Arrests made in connection with an armed robbery (knife) offense: Block 700 of 5th Street, Northeast

Detectives from the First District of the Metropolitan Police Department announce that arrests have been made in reference to an armed robbery (knife) offense that occurred on Monday, November 22, 2021 in the 700 block of 5th Street, North. is.
At approximately 6:50 p.m., the suspects approached the victim at the location indicated. A suspect brandished a knife and called for the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects fled in the vehicle.
On Monday, November 22, 2021, a 15-year-old from Southeast, DC, and a 13-year-old from Northeast, DC, were arrested and charged with armed robbery (knife). In addition, as a result of the detectives’ investigation, the 13-year-old was charged with the following offense:
Burglar 1 and Theft 1 (car theft): On Sunday, November 21, 2021, at around 7:35 p.m., the suspect entered an occupied residence while two other suspects stood outside the 1300 block of C Street, north -is, and served as lookouts. Once inside, the suspect took away belongings to include the keys to a vehicle. The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle has since been recovered.
Previously, on Sunday, November 21, 2021, another 13-year-old from Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with burglary and theft (car theft).

  • Vehicle wanted during an assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm) Offense: unit block on I Street, southeast

Detectives from the First District of the Metropolitan Police Department are asking the public for help in identifying and locating a vehicle in reference to an offense of assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm) that occurred on Saturday, November 27, 2021, in the block unit from I Street, southeast.
At approximately 2:50 p.m., the suspects were in a vehicle and approached the victim, who was seated in a vehicle, at the location indicated. One of the suspects raised a gun and shot the victim. The victim suffered several gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects’ vehicle was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below. The vehicle is described as a black BMW 328xi 2-door coupe with unknown labels, tinted windows, chrome accents and black rims.

  • Suspect wanted in burglary offense two: 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District are asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a burglary offense two that occurred on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, south -is.
At approximately 6:15 a.m., the suspect broke into an establishment at the indicated location. Once inside, the suspect took possession of the premises and then fled.

  • Suspects wanted in robbery (force and violence) offense: 500 block of L Street, northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek public assistance in identifying suspects in reference to a robbery (force and violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in the 500 block of L Street, north -is.
At approximately 2:40 p.m., the suspects approached the victim at the indicated location. The suspects assaulted the victim and then confiscated his property. The suspects then fled.

  • Suspects wanted in armed robbery (firearm) offense: 1700 Block of East Capitol Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District are asking for public assistance in identifying suspects in reference to an armed robbery (firearm) offense that occurred on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in the 1700 block of East Capitol Street , to North-east.
At around 6:25 p.m., the suspects approached the victims at the location indicated. One of the suspects assaulted one of the victims. A second suspect then brandished a handgun and claimed the victims’ property. The victims did so. The suspects then fled.

  • Suspects wanted in aggravated assault offense: unit block on N Street, South East

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in reference to a aggravated assault offense that occurred on Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Unit Block of Southeast N Street.
At approximately 1:43 a.m., members of the First District responded to the location indicated for a call to investigate the problem. Upon arrival, members located an adult male who had been assaulted and suffered from multiple injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos above.

  • Arrest made in connection with attempted robbery in armed robbery: 1200 block of 1st Street, northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce that an arrest was made in reference to an attempted robbery while an armed offense occurred on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in the 1200 block of 1st Street , northeast.
At approximately 5:23 p.m., the suspect approached the victim at the location indicated. The suspect then claimed the victim’s property and brandished a handgun. The victim did not comply and fled. The suspect was apprehended by response officers and a pellet gun was recovered.
On Thursday, December 2, 2021, Bryce Anthony Porter, 30, of Reston, Va., Was arrested and charged with attempted robbery while he was armed.

  • Suspects wanted in armed robbery offense (with firearm): 17th Street unit block, northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police First District are asking the public for help in identifying suspects in reference to an armed robbery (with a firearm) offense that occurred on Friday, December 3, 2021 in the Unit block on 17th Street, Nord Est.
At approximately 8:50 a.m., two suspects approached the victim at the location indicated. The suspects brandished handguns and demanded property from the victim. The suspects took the victim’s property and then fled.
