Officer issued with notice to appear, Brisbane area

A 29-year-old Brisbane area police officer has been served a notice to appear for one count of possession of dangerous drugs and one count of issuing or possessing instructions to produce dangerous drugs and will appear in trial court from Brisbane on April 11, 2022.

The officer has been suspended from official duties with the Queensland Police Service.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behavior, transparency and accountability, we are committed to informing the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
