Stonehouse murder investigation: photos of scene as woman found dead


Footage has emerged of a suspected murder scene at Stonehouse after the death of a woman in her 50s.

A scene guard is in place at the Gloucestershire address following the death of the woman, who is being treated as a suspect.

Police were called to a Bath Road property at 12:30 am today, Sunday November 28, where it was reported that a woman had been injured.

Paramedics intervened and the woman, in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

In an earlier statement, a Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “A 53-year-old man from Cheltenham has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and remains in custody for questioning.

“The Major Crime Investigation Team is investigating the death and anyone with information that could help them is encouraged to contact the police.”
