The Spokane Police Department is asking the public for help in locating an elderly man with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing in the 5 mile zone last night.
On 12/22/2021, at 932 AM, officers responded to the 2200 block of W. Strong Rd, town of Spokane for a missing person report. The family have informed that their father, identified as Robert Bachman, 79, was last seen last night at his address on Strong Rd. The family say Robert suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and spoke of an old cabin they owned years ago in Coolin Idaho. The family fear that Robert is trying to get to the cabin. Robert also doesn’t have his cell phone with him.
Robert is a white male, 5-10, weighs around 160 pounds with white hair and hazel eyes. Robert last saw a hat with a light gray jacket.
Robert also drives a blue 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, license plate BOE8124 from Washington. At around 8pm last night, Robert was spotted in the Cooper and Mt. Spokane area Dr. When contacted by a citizen, Robert said he was lost and looking for his cabin. After speaking to the citizen, Robert drove off and has not been located since.
A money alert is being activated. If you see Robert or his vehicle, please call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference case number 2021-20218205.
